Outline for Research Paper

I've started breaking down my outline to submit on Friday. Today's class actually really helped me to start creating my outline. I have done outlines in the past, but what was different this time around was actually going over the different types of outlines in class and also creating one right after our class discussion. It was easier because my thoughts were freshly apparent based on what all of the students were explaining about the different types of outlines. So, (with the help of my classmate Jordan :0) I figured out that I want to use the traditional style of outlining for my paper. Thanks Jordan!! Professor Salamat was very funny when I became apprehensive about having questions in my subtopic categories!! Thank you for showing me: no questions, just ideas :-)

Finding my last sources for my bibliography

I started researching to see if I can find my last sources. I have been reading many different books about Spain, the U.S. gaining access to the Caribbean island of PR, and the history of Europe and Spain during the 1800's. It's alot of information to pick and choose from. I have started doing the first steps of my annotated bibliography and I've so far experienced that the citing is actually easier than writing my short summary. I had a feeling that writing the short summaries would be difficult for me because I tend to write LONG summaries!!

My research proposal-How I'm Starting Out So Far

I started breaking down how I should write each paragraph for my proposal and so far I know how I'd like to begin. I am going to start by writing about how and why the war began. Then I will go into the sources I'm using and how I'm using them. I don't think it will be hard to find all of my research because there aren't really any roadblocks or insufficient information regarding war. It's history, so I know finding sources shouldn't be hard.
